DG5 Two-Stage Directional Valves

Vickers DG5 Two-Stage Directional Valves are pilot-operated spool valves that use a small solenoid pilot to shift a high-flow main stage for dependable directional control of cylinders and motors. They pair a DG4V3-type pilot with a larger main body to deliver fast, low-shock shifting and solid cast-body flow paths, with high-flow versions rated up to ~530 L/min and pressures to 310 bar. Configuration options include multiple spool symbols (open, closed, tandem), spring-centered/offset/pressure-centered variants, internal or external pilot and drain choices, plus stroke-limit and pilot-choke adjustments to tune response and reduce shock. Typical uses span presses, molding machines, power units, and other heavy industrial systems where a solenoid-piloted valve must move large volumes with repeatable switching.
