This two-stage unit directs hydraulic flow in automated circuits by combining a solenoid pilot operated stage with a larger main spool. Its single solenoid shifts the pilot section so the main spool moves to the commanded position. The 4-way flow path lets the valve alternate pressure and return between two actuator ports, while the selected spool is closed to T on all ports when centered to block unintended flow. A pilot choke adjustment is available to fine-tune spool speed for stable motion. The integrated pilot valve follows CETOP 3 standards, making replacements straightforward. Pilot oil is supplied externally through Port X to isolate control pressure from system variations, and the pilot drain is routed externally to keep back pressure low. Connection to the pilot line is made through a .5625-18 UNF-2B threaded port.
The electrical section uses an F-style flying lead coil so installers can splice the conductors directly into harnesses, and a PA5 five-pin plug provides a quick-disconnect interface for control signals. Indicator lights show coil status to simplify troubleshooting. Conduit entry is handled by a 1/2 NPT wiring housing that seals the electrical cavity. The valve bolts to subplates conforming to ISO 4401-08 / NFPA D08, allowing drop-in exchange with other D08 components. A 1/4 BSP gauge port lets technicians read line pressure without altering the main plumbing, and a .4375-20 UNF-2B test port offers a dedicated point for flow or pressure checks during maintenance. These service ports work alongside the previously noted pilot features to support accurate setup and keep the directional control suitable for automated machinery.
