The KAFDG5V 7 33C160N X VM F PD7 H1 13 is produced by Vickers within the DG5 Two-Stage Directional Valves series and is applied to route hydraulic flow in automated machinery. The assembly tolerates up to 350 bar at the pressure, A, B, and X ports, enabling use in high-pressure circuits, and its pilot network accepts the same 350 bar limit so auxiliary regulators are unnecessary. A Y drain connection is limited to 210 bar to protect return-line seals. The control chamber requires 7.28 cm³ to move the spool from center to an end position and 14.56 cm³ for full end-to-end travel, allowing precise timing calculations. Continuous service is allowed by a 100 % duty cycle, preventing thermal shutdowns. An IP65 enclosure blocks dust and water jets, and reliable cold-start operation is supported down to –20 °C.
The valve integrates a spool monitor that withstands a 300 Vdc high-potential test, confirming insulation before commissioning. During operation the monitor holds hysteresis below 0.25 mm, and it remains accurate at system pressures up to 350 bar. Output leakage is limited to 10 µA to avoid false signals, while a 200 mA load current capacity drives external indicators directly. Electrical protection includes a 35 Vdc over-voltage limit and –35 Vdc reverse-polarity tolerance. With a maximum switching frequency of 3 kHz, the monitor can report spool position changes fast enough for high-cycle hydraulic automation.
