The DG5S86C2TMUH530 two-stage directional valve regulates actuator movement in hydraulic automation by shifting a spool with pilot pressure. Manufactured by Vickers for the DG5 Two-Stage Directional Valves series, it handles circuits that need dependable flow redirection. The internal pilot drain routes return oil to the T port inside the assembly, simplifying plumbing. A manual override with waterproof solenoid ends lets operators reposition the spool when electrical power is absent. The valve is spring centered so the spool returns to neutral automatically, and the dual pilot choke option moderates spool travel to limit hydraulic shock. In neutral, spool code 6 closes the pressure port while ports A and B connect to tank. The pilot section withstands 210 bar (3000 psi) and the unit can pass up to 380 L/min (100 US gpm); however, system designers should limit flow to 170 L/min (45 US gpm) for consistent response.
Panel integration follows the ISO 4401-08, NFPA D08 mounting interface and uses six 13.50 mm (0.531 in) holes, each tightened to 79 N·m (700 lbf·in) to maintain seal integrity. Test points on ports A and B are threaded 0.4375-20 UNF-2B for easy gauge connection. The pressure and tank work ports measure 23.00 mm (0.906 in) to support the specified flow without excessive velocity. System pressure at ports P, A, and B may reach 210 bar (3000 psi), and the tank return circuit can tolerate the same 210 bar when back-pressure rises. The assembled valve weighs 16.1 kg (35.5 lb), giving it sufficient mass to resist vibration on mobile or stationary equipment.
