The DG5S4-062C-E-H230AC6050 directional valve is produced by Vickers within the DG5 Two-Stage Directional Valves series and directs fluid flow in automated hydraulic circuits. Its two-stage construction amplifies control pressure for precise spool positioning, and pilot-operated actuation lets a low-flow pilot signal shift the main stage without high force. The valve tolerates system pressures up to 210 bar (3000 psi), suiting medium-pressure machinery, and passes up to 227 L/min (60 US gpm) to supply large cylinders. Installation is simplified by subplate or manifold mounting, and the ISO 4401-07 interface aligns with common base patterns.
An integral 230 VAC 50/60 Hz solenoid coil connects to plant power, while the ISO 4400 DIN 43650 connector provides plug-in wiring for the coil. Buna-N seals retain petroleum oils, the specified operating fluid, and the system must maintain cleanliness at ISO 4406 19/17/14 to protect sliding lands. Operating limits range from –20 °C to 70 °C so the valve functions in cold starts and warm shops. The tank port withstands back-pressures to 100 bar (1450 psi), guiding reservoir line design.
