The DG5V8H521CMUB10E two-stage directional valve is manufactured by Vickers within the DG5 Two-Stage Directional Valves series. It guides hydraulic flow in automated machinery, and its 521 closed-center, regen B spool blocks all ports in neutral while recirculating B-port flow for faster cylinder extension when actuated. A spring-centered mechanism returns the spool to neutral after de-energization to prevent unintended motion. The H pilot type that follows CETOP 3 high-performance standards drives the main stage for quick response, and because pilot pressure is supplied externally, the valve behaves consistently even when system pressure varies. Subplate or manifold mounting simplifies replacement, and the ISO 4401-08 interface aligns with common bases to reduce adaptation work. Overall dimensions of 265.430 mm in length and 118.618 mm in width support compact installation inside power packs.
Electrical control is provided by a solenoid coil that operates at 110 V 50 Hz or 120 V 60 Hz, letting a single model fit multiple plant standards. Wiring connects through an ISO 4400 (DIN 43650) plug where conductors from 0.5 – 1.5 mm² are accepted, and a cable sheath between 6 – 10 mm passes the built-in strain relief. With the plug in place the connector attains an IP65 rating, guarding contacts against dust and water spray on the factory floor. Two ISO 6149 gauge ports are included so technicians can monitor pilot and main pressures during setup and maintenance.
