The DG5S4-02-2N-2-T-MFPM4WL-D7-HL7-30-EN623 directional control valve is produced by Vickers as part of the DG5 Two-Stage Directional Valves series and is used to switch hydraulic flow paths in automated equipment. This two-stage assembly employs a pilot section to shift the main spool, and the pilot operated design keeps solenoid forces low while maintaining fast response. Its mounting face matches ISO 4401-05, also known as NFPA D05, so it can bolt directly to standard subplates. The pressure rating reaches 210 bar on the service ports, whereas the tank port is limited to 100 bar. Acceptable fluid or ambient temperatures extend from -18 °C to 65 °C, allowing installation in a wide range of factory environments.
The valve handles up to 115 L/min, giving adequate capacity for medium-flow circuits. Leakage is returned internally to port T, removing the need for an external pilot drain line. A spool pattern designated as type 2 establishes the required actuator flow directions, and two pilot choke adjustments are provided so opening and closing rates can be tuned. Because the spool is held by a detent with no spring, it stays in its last commanded position after power is removed. Electrical connection is made through a PM4 four-pin plug, while an F style flying-lead coil simplifies field wiring.
