The Vickers DG5S4046ATWB40 is part of the DG5 Two-Stage Directional Valves series. It uses a solenoid pilot operated actuation mechanism with wet armature solenoids. The electrical service is compatible with 115/120 V at 60 Hz and 110 V at 50 Hz. This valve is designed with a 4-way flow configuration and features a spool type 6 that is closed at port P only. Maximum pilot pressure and system pressure for ports p, a, and b are rated at 207 bar or 3000 psi, while the minimum pilot pressure for type 6 operation is 10.3 bar or 150 psi. It is built for subplate mounting and has an internal pilot drain and pressure source. The spring arrangement is type A with a spring offset, and the response type is standard low shock. Offset flow when de-energized is directed from port P to A.
