DB Pressure Relief Valves

The Bosch Rexroth DB series consists of hydraulic pressure relief valves designed to limit and control the maximum pressure within a hydraulic circuit. Their fundamental function is to act as essential safety equipment by opening a path to the tank (T-port) whenever the system pressure rises above a pre-set value, preventing component damage. The series includes both direct-operated types (DBD) and high-performance pilot-operated designs (DB and DBW) for various flow and pressure ranges up to 350 bar. The pilot-operated versions work by using the system pressure to overcome an adjustable spring force, which then opens a main spool to relieve the flow. Furthermore, proportional versions (DBEM, DBG) are available, which allow the pressure limit to be continuously adjusted and remotely controlled by an electrical signal via a proportional solenoid or a DC motor.
