The DB10-1-5X/315X/12 pressure relief valve is part of the DB Pressure Relief Valves series from Bosch Rexroth. It protects hydraulic circuits by opening at a preset pressure and routing excess fluid to tank. The valve is built in nominal size NG10, placing it within medium-capacity block layouts. Subplate mounting allows direct attachment to standardized manifold patterns for straightforward installation. A rotary knob provides on-site adjustment of the relief point without disassembly. The design handles a maximum flow of 250 l/min, matching pumps used in presses, machine tools, and similar equipment. Because the installation position is unrestricted, the unit can be fitted in any orientation within the hydraulic assembly.

The adjustable pressure range extends to 315 bar, establishing the working limit for downstream components. Inlet ports p and x tolerate a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar, supplying a safety margin above the setpoint. The tank port T is rated for 315 bar so return plumbing remains within allowable stress when the valve opens. External pilot oil supply through port X separates control flow from the main line and stabilizes response. Internal pilot oil return simplifies routing by eliminating a separate drain line. Together, these characteristics let the valve provide consistent over-pressure protection in compact, high-duty hydraulic systems.
