KDG Non-feedback Proportional Valves

Vickers KDG valves are non-feedback, proportional directional valves that position the spool—and therefore meter flow—in direct proportion to solenoid current. They combine control of flow, direction, and smooth acceleration/deceleration in a single body to bridge the gap between on/off solenoid directional valves and full feedback proportional or servo valves. KDG valves suit a wide range of circuit sizes. Typical “line-of-sight” applications include mobile and industrial equipment—like material handling machines, aerial platforms, and entertainment rides—driven by joysticks, potentiometers, or amplifier cards. Available spools support meter-in, meter-out, or combined metering, and KA variants add an integral amplifier for simplified setup and repeatability.
