The KDG4V32C28SZMUH760 proportional valve belongs to the KDG Non-feedback Proportional Valves series from Vickers and is intended for controlled flow and directional change in hydraulic automation circuits. It bolts to manifolds with the ISO-4401-AB-03-4-A mounting pattern, allowing interchange with other size 03 components. A type 2 closed-center spool provides blocked ports at the neutral position, while the C spring-centered dual-solenoid arrangement re-centers the spool when both coils are de-energized. Meter-out control is used so the valve modulates exhaust flow rather than supply flow to manage actuator speed. The unit supports a rated flow of 28 L/min yet remains responsive at the minimum recommended flow of 1.4 L/min. System pressure can rise to 350 bar, and a pressure drop through the four-way paths should stay within the 210 bar limit to maintain stable performance.
Electrical actuation is based on a 24 V DC coil that draws up to 1.6 A under maximum load. Coil resistance is 7.3 ohms at 20 °C, and the inductance measured at 1000 Hz is 20 mH, factors that influence driver design and switching behavior. Continuous duty is possible because the coil is rated for a 100 % ED operating factor, so temperature rise remains within safe limits during prolonged energization.
