The KDG4V533C50NZMUH730 proportional valve is part of the KDG Non-feedback Proportional Valves series manufactured by Vickers. It regulates hydraulic flow and pressure in automated circuits where analog control is required. The valve is solenoid controlled so the spool position responds to a 24 V DC coil signal. A spring centered build returns the spool to neutral when power is removed. There is no manual override, making the unit dependent on electrical commands for actuation. Because no feedback sensor is integrated, external monitoring devices must be used when closed-loop accuracy is needed. The design omits on-board electronics, allowing the valve to be paired with remote drivers. All power and control leads connect through an ISO 4400 (DIN 43650) plug, and the mounting interface matches ISO 4401-05 (NFPA D05/CETOP 5/NG10) sub-plates. Meter-in and meter-out metering enable balanced control of cylinder motion. Compatible fluids include antiwear oils and non-alkyl phosphate esters.

A maximum operating pressure of 315 bar permits use in medium-pressure hydraulic systems. The A port can pass 50 L/min, and the B port handles the same 50 L/min, providing symmetrical flow capacity for bidirectional actuators. System cleanliness must reach class 17/15/12 to protect the precision edges of the spool. Narrow tolerance between land and bore demands clean oil; excessive contamination increases leakage and accelerates wear. The valve’s product length is 255.016 mm and its width is 70.104 mm, dimensions that fit standard manifolds within the NG10 envelope. The valve seats directly on the sub-plate, so the footprint set by its length and width determines bolt spacing and seal groove position. At the stated flow rate, pressure gain across the metering notches remains low, helping actuators start smoothly. When flow is reversed, the identical capacity of both ports maintains equal speed in either direction. These parameters allow consistent motion control without adding external pressure compensators.
