FES Throttle Valves

The Bosch Rexroth FES Throttle Valves are high-performance, 2-way valves designed for block installation in hydraulic systems. Their function is to provide precise, continuous control over fluid flow in both directions, regulating flow rates up to 1800 l/min at 315 bar. They work by using an electrically position-controlled orifice spool which is set by a proportional solenoid, enabling remote and variable adjustment of the flow cross-section. The FES/FESE valves are pilot-operated and feature a fail-safe design, automatically moving the orifice spool to a seated, blocked position upon power failure. These valves are often used in conjunction with a pressure compensator to achieve pressure-compensated flow control for highly accurate motion and speed regulation.
