The FESXE 25CA-10/210LK0B1M throttle valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for the FES Throttle Valves series and meters hydraulic flow in automated machinery. It is powered by a 24 V DC supply and draws up to 1.3 A during continuous operation, with a permissible 1.5 A pulse load for spool actuation. Continuous energization is allowed because the duty cycle is 100%. An 11-pin DIN 43651 connector with a protective earth contact provides the electrical interface, while the housing meets IP65, protecting internal parts against dust and low-pressure water. The size 25 body features a 2:1 area ratio that enables efficient pilot control of the main stage.
The main ports tolerate operating pressures to 315 bar, and the pilot circuit is rated for the same 315 bar limit. At a differential pressure of 10 bar, the valve delivers a nominal flow of 210 L/min, rising to 360 L/min for flow from port A to B and 330 L/min for flow from port B to A. Stable operation requires minimum inlet pressures of 12 bar in the A→B direction and 15 bar in the B→A direction. The stepped pilot input needs only 5.0 L/min of pilot oil, and a volume of 3.9 cm³ moves the spool from closed to fully open, keeping control energy low during fast cycling.
