The housing is rated for 315 bar operating pressure, so the spool remains stable during peak system surges. Pilot control supplied through port X may also be pressurized to 315 bar without exceeding design limits. These pressure allowances, together with the specified flow capacities, allow the valve to meter fluid accurately across its full command range.
