The FES50CA-3X/1400LK4V throttle valve belongs to the FES Throttle Valves series and is produced by Bosch Rexroth for flow control tasks in hydraulic automation. With size 50, the valve is dimensioned to pass a nominal flow of 1400 L/min when the pressure differential is 10 bar. It tolerates a maximum operating pressure of 315 bar, allowing use in high-pressure circuits. For reverse direction, the inlet must reach 25 bar from port B to port A before accurate throttling can begin. Pilot control on port X may be applied up to 315 bar, giving the actuator full authority over the spool. Electrical actuation relies on a 24 V DC solenoid that draws a nominal 1000 mA; the cold coil resistance is 12.7 ohm, providing predictable pull-in characteristics. The solenoid connects through a DIN EN 175301-803 plug, and sealing against leakage is provided by FKM elastomers. When the socket is mounted and locked, the housing achieves an IP65 rating, and the complete assembly weighs 12.5 kg, fitting standard manifold blocks without excessive load.
