The FEE16C-2X/100LK0G1M throttle valve belongs to the FES Throttle Valves series produced by Bosch Rexroth for hydraulic automation where proportional flow control is needed. The valve accepts a 4 mA to 20 mA command signal so a standard current loop can modulate the spool position. Its electronics run from a nominal 24 VDC supply while remaining functional between 21.6 V and 36 V, allowing operation on power rails that fluctuate. Maximum current draw is limited to 1.3 A, permitting the use of compact conductors and protective devices. Continuous service is possible because the duty cycle is 100 percent, eliminating the need for cooling pauses. The hydraulic section is sized for a nominal flow of 100 L/min at a 10 bar differential, supplying steady actuator motion in servo circuits. When the spool is fully opened the passage can pass up to 190 L/min under the same differential so temporary high-demand events are covered. Reliable control requires at least 7 bar inlet pressure from port a to b, guarding against cavitation. Working ports a and b tolerate operating pressures up to 315 bar, and the pilot port x is also rated for 315 bar, aligning the valve with high-pressure system standards. The pilot stage moves 0.9 cm³ of oil when traveling from closed to fully open, which defines the amount of fluid the driver circuit must supply for each stroke.
