The FES25CA-3X/315LK4M throttle valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the FES Throttle Valves series and meters hydraulic flow between ports A and B in automated circuits. Valve size 25 sets the mounting pattern and flow passage area. A nominal flow of 315 l/min at a 10 bar pressure drop defines the baseline capacity for steady operation. The device can pass up to 360 l/min from port A to B at the same pressure differential, giving reserve for peak demand in that direction. In the opposite direction it handles 330 l/min from port B to A under identical conditions. A minimum inlet pressure of 12 bar is required for movement from A to B, while 15 bar is needed when flow reverses from B to A. An allowable operating pressure of 315 bar lets the unit work in high-pressure power units without mechanical overstress.
A pilot pressure limit of 315 bar protects the control stage from overload during modulation. The solenoid is energized with a 24 V DC supply, and a nominal current of 1000 mA produces the magnetic force needed to shift the spool. Coil resistance measures 12.7 Ω when cold and rises to 19.3 Ω after heating, values that help size the driver electronics. The interface follows DIN EN 175301-803, providing a standardized electrical connector. An IP65 rating guards the housing against dust ingress and water jets during machine washdown. NBR seals keep leakage low while remaining compatible with HL and HLP hydraulic fluids defined in DIN 51524. The same fluid grades serve as the working media, ensuring consistent lubrication and corrosion protection within the valve.
