Flow from port A to port b requires at least 15 bar inlet pressure, whereas flow from port B to port a needs 20 bar to ensure stable throttling. Acceptable oil viscosity spans 15–380 mm²/s, and hydraulic fluid temperatures can range from −20 °C to +80 °C without derating performance. The main stage fluid must meet cleanliness level ISO 4406 (c) 20/18/15, while the pilot supply is restricted to ISO 4406 (c) 17/15/12 to protect fine orifices. These characteristics enable precise, consistent flow control across varying operating conditions.
