MP Differential Pressure Switches

The MP Differential Pressure Switches series includes oil differential pressure safety switches used to protect refrigeration compressors against low lubricating oil pressure. The series includes fixed-differential and adjustable-differential versions, with MP54 using a fixed setting and MP55 and MP55A allowing differential adjustment over a wider range depending on the application. These switches operate from the pressure difference between the oil pressure side and the suction side, and versions with time relay delay will stop the compressor if the required oil differential pressure is not reached within the release time or falls below the set value during operation. The series is designed for refrigerating systems using HCFC and non-flammable HFC refrigerants, while MP55A also supports R717 systems, and the units include features such as reset and test functions, front electrical connection, and versions with or without integrated time relay.
