The 060B100691 differential pressure switch belongs to the MP Differential Pressure Switches series and is manufactured by Danfoss. It is installed in hydraulic automation to open or close electrical control circuits when the difference between two pressure points reaches a set value. The device works across a differential pressure range of 0.3 bar to 4.5 bar so it can supervise low to moderate pressure changes in oil or water lines. A fixed contact differential of 0.2 bar defines the increment between switch actuation and reset, ensuring repeatable operation. It employs an SPDT contact function, allowing the user to route either a make or break signal to downstream controllers. The unit tolerates a low-pressure side operating span from −1 bar to 12 bar, matching common suction and discharge conditions. A maximum working pressure of 17 bar supports continuous service without mechanical deformation. Process connection is a G 3/8 thread in accordance with ISO 228-1, providing straightforward coupling to standard pipe fittings.

Environmental and electrical limits support reliable field use. The switch operates in ambient temperatures from −40 °C up to 60 °C, so it remains functional in cold outdoor cabinets or warm machine rooms. Internally, the bellows can reach 100 °C without loss of integrity, supporting media that run hotter than the surrounding air. During inspection the assembly can accept a test pressure of 22 bar, enabling verification procedures above its normal duty level. A rated impulse voltage of 4 kV protects the contact system against transient surges present in industrial power networks. Once the actuating pressure falls below the reset point, the relay releases within 60 s, giving predictable response for slow-changing processes. The IP20 enclosure prevents accidental finger contact with live parts when the device is panel mounted.
