The 060B100991 differential pressure switch belongs to the MP Differential Pressure Switches series from Danfoss and serves to monitor hydraulic lines and trigger control logic when a preset pressure difference is reached. It withstands a maximum working pressure of 17.0 bar, and commissioning tests may be carried out up to 22.0 bar without damaging the unit. The low-pressure side operates between −1 bar and 12 bar, making the device suitable for suction as well as discharge circuits. A 1/4 in flare connection manufactured to DIN 8906 provides a standardized interface to pipework, while the IP20 enclosure rating restricts dust ingress and calls for installation inside a protective cabinet.
The switch functions in ambient temperatures from −40 °C to 60 °C, allowing deployment in cold storage or high-temperature plant rooms. A contact differential of 0.20 bar defines the pressure change needed for actuation, and a fixed differential of 0.65 bar stabilizes cut-in and cut-out points under cycling loads. Single-pole double-throw contacts give one normally open and one normally closed circuit, and they are rated for AC15 duty at 2 A, 250 V or DC13 duty at 0.2 A, 250 V so the device can drive relays or signal lamps directly. Insulation resists impulse voltages up to 4 kV to protect against transients, and the relay releases 90 s after the pressure falls below the set value to prevent rapid cycling.
