The 060B018391 differential pressure switch is produced by Danfoss in the MP Differential Pressure Switches series. It supervises hydraulic circuits by opening or closing its relay when the pressure difference reaches a defined threshold. It permits adjustable switching between 0.3 bar and 4.5 bar so the installer can match the trigger point to system demands, while the factory setting is fixed at 0.65 bar for quick start-up. The unit tolerates continuous service up to 17 bar working pressure, and it can be bench-tested at 22 bar without damage to verify integrity before commissioning. The low-pressure side remains operational between −1 bar and 12 bar which supports both suction and discharge monitoring in hydraulic loops. A manual min reset function requires an operator to restore the relay after a drop below the set point, preventing automatic restart after a critical pressure loss.
Process connections are formed with a 12 x 1.5 port manufactured to ISO 8434-1 so the switch mates directly with standard hydraulic fittings. Electrical wiring enters through a screwed cable entry of Pg 13.5 that follows DIN 40430, providing strain relief and compatibility with common gland hardware. The molded housing carries an IP20 enclosure rating, limiting installation to protected panels yet allowing rapid inspection. Safe cold-room operation is possible down to −40 °C, keeping the sensor responsive during low-temperature starts. After the contacts open, the relay releases fully within 60 s to guarantee a clear signal to upstream controllers. Together these characteristics define reliable field connectivity, environmental tolerance, and timely signaling for automated pressure control.
