The 060B029791 differential pressure switch is produced by Danfoss as part of the MP Differential Pressure Switches series and is intended to trigger control actions in hydraulic automation when a preset pressure difference is reached. It remains operational in ambient temperatures from -40 °C to 60 °C, which accommodates outdoor installations and high-temperature machinery spaces. The bellows can tolerate media up to 100 °C so hot hydraulic oil does not damage the sensing element. The low-pressure port can see values between –1 bar and 12 bar, allowing the device to supervise both vacuum conditions and moderate positive pressure. A 1/4 in flare fitting provides the mechanical interface, and the connection follows DIN 8906 to ensure compatibility with standard tubing. This arrangement offers a secure, leak-tight path for the process fluid without additional adapters.
A fixed differential of 0.65 bar defines the reset point, while a contact differential of 0.2 bar establishes the switching sensitivity so small pressure changes can be detected accurately. The housing includes a Pg 13.5 cable entry, and the terminal layout complies with DIN 40430 to simplify wiring in control cabinets. An IP20 enclosure rating shields live parts from finger contact and limits dust intrusion in sheltered locations. Continuous duty is permitted up to 17 bar, and test procedures may raise the system to 22 bar without impairing the switch body. Finally, the relay releases with a delay of 0 s, providing immediate electrical feedback when pressure falls below the set threshold.
