M-SED Poppet Valves

The Bosch Rexroth Type M-SED are direct operated, solenoid-actuated directional poppet valves used in hydraulic systems, available in 3/2 and 4/2 configurations. Their primary function is to reliably control the start, stop, and direction of fluid flow for applications requiring up to 40 l/min. The valve's operation relies on a spring and a solenoid to press a closing element onto seats, which ensures a leak-free blocked port in the closed position. These robust valves are rated for a maximum operating pressure of up to 350 bar for all main ports. A 4/2 directional poppet valve function is achieved by mounting a 3/2 valve in conjunction with a specialized sandwich component called the Plus-1-Plate.
