ZDC Pressure Compensators

The Bosch Rexroth ZDC Pressure Compensators are direct operated supply pressure compensator valves designed as sandwich plate valves for use in stackable hydraulic systems. They work by using an internal shuttle valve to sense the load pressure and, in a control loop with a proportional directional valve, adjust the inlet pressure to maintain a constant pressure drop across the directional valve's control orifice. This control mechanism allows for load compensation in the main flow channels (P to A or P to B). The primary function is to enable precise and load-independent flow control when used in conjunction with a proportional directional valve, ensuring the actuator speed remains constant despite changing load pressures. They are available as 2-way ("P") or 3-way ("PT") versions, handling pressures up to 350 bar.
