ZDC10P-2X/XLM

The ZDC10P-2X/XLM is a pressure compensator manufactured by Bosch Rexroth within the ZDC Pressure Compensators series. It stabilizes flow in hydraulic automation circuits by holding a fixed differential pressure across proportional valves or throttle orifices. The valve size NG 10 defines the subplate interface and matches systems that use size-10 cavities. A porting pattern of ISO 4401-05-05-0-05 aligns the body with standard manifold blocks, reducing installation time. The unit manages up to 85 l/min so it can feed medium-capacity actuators without inducing excessive pressure loss. A differential setpoint of 10 bar is maintained internally, ensuring consistent flow regardless of load fluctuations. Pilot oil is supplied externally, designated XL, which allows the control piston to reference a clean pressure source and improves stability in circuits with variable main pressures. NBR seals are fitted to provide compatibility with common mineral hydraulic fluids. Reliable service also depends on fluid cleanliness to ISO 4406 class 20/18/15, a level that limits particulate wear on the compensator's sliding elements.

The compensator tolerates ambient temperatures from −20 °C to 80 °C, so it can be mounted on machinery that operates outdoors or near hot process equipment. Fluid temperatures are permissible over the same −20 °C to 80 °C range, allowing the valve to share reservoirs with standard hydraulic oils. Main service ports A, B, and P are rated to 350 bar, enabling use in high-pressure supply lines without derating. Port T withstands 250 bar, providing a safe margin when back-pressure is present in the return circuit, while port Y is limited to 150 bar because it only handles control drainage. The assembly weighs 3.0 kg, light enough for direct mounting on compact manifolds yet substantial enough to resist vibration. These pressure and temperature limits, combined with the stable flow characteristics described earlier, enable the ZDC10P-2X/XLM to maintain precise actuator speeds across a wide range of industrial automation installations.
