4WRVE Solenoid Directional Control Valves

The Bosch Rexroth 4WRVE is a series of pilot-operated 4/3-way servo solenoid directional control valves available in sizes NG10 through NG27, designed for high response applications. These valves incorporate on-board electronics (OBE), which are factory-calibrated and contain a position controller for both the pilot and main stages, along with electrical position feedback. The valve functions by having the OBE compare a setpoint input to the actual position of the main stage control spool, and an error signal actuates the pilot valve to move the main control spool proportionally to the setpoint. The main stage is in servo quality and uses a control piston and sleeve. They offer various flow characteristics, including Progressive with fine metering (M), Non-linear (P), and Linear (L), to control the nominal flow rate.
