The Vickers by Danfoss PVM Variable Displacement Piston Pumps are axial piston designs for open circuit industrial systems. As variable displacement pumps, they feature a variety of control options to provide a continuously modulated flow, maximizing efficiency by meeting changing load demands and preventing excess heat generation. The robust rotating group allows them to handle continuous pressures up to 315 bar (4568 psi), while features like high-load bearings and a stiff drive shaft ensure a very long operating life. For efficiency, the pump can operate at maximum displacement below the compensator pressure setting and adjust its operating pressure to the actual load plus a differential pressure when using load sensing controls Furthermore, the Series incorporates a unique three-piece envelope and a bimetal timing plate to achieve very low fluid-borne and structure-borne noise levels, improving operator comfort and potentially reducing system installation costs.
