Z4WE Solenoid Actuation Spool Valves

The Bosch Rexroth Z4WE Solenoid Actuation Spool Valves are direct-operated directional shut-off valves designed as sandwich plate valves for use in hydraulic stacks.1 They are available in 4/2 or 4/3 directional designs and can be configured as straight-through or short-circuit valves. The valves work by using a wet-pin DC or AC solenoid to electrically actuate the internal spool, shifting it to change the flow path of the hydraulic fluid. Their essential function is to control the start, stop, and direction of fluid flow to hydraulic consumers. Optional features like manual override, spool position monitoring, and PWM connectors for fast switching or energy reduction are available.
