The 222AK00035B piston pump is part of the X20 Mobile Piston Pumps series from Vickers and delivers variable flow for hydraulic automation in mobile machinery. It supplies 28 cm³ per revolution, and a pressure-flow compensator configured for left-hand load sensing adjusts output to match circuit demand. Continuous operation is rated at 4060 psi, with a 5000 psi peak capacity for brief overloads. The pump can absorb up to 39.2 kW at the drive end, so prime movers must be sized accordingly. Speeds from 500 to 3600 rpm are permitted, with 3000 rpm specified for a 1.0 bar absolute inlet. To protect internal surfaces, the hydraulic fluid must reach ISO 21/18/13 cleanliness.
A 22.2 mm straight-key shaft transmits input torque, and the front face follows the two-bolt B pattern defined by SAE J744-22-1 B for compact mounting. Rear ports are provided, with a 1.625-12 suction thread and a 1.0625-12 pressure thread, simplifying hose routing. Case drainage exits through a top .875-14 UNF-2B port on this 28 cc frame, and diagnostic readings can be taken at .4375-20 UNF-2B ports that are supplied plugged from the factory. The pump turns right-hand to match typical engine rotation, and the assembled unit weighs 35.9 lb for manageable handling during installation or service.
