Designed for hydraulic automation, it blocks flow until a control signal raises pressure to release the load. The module is pressure-operated, so upstream pilot pressure commands opening without external mechanical actuation. A cracking pressure of 30 psi establishes the threshold at which the poppet begins to open, preventing unintended motion from minor pressure fluctuations. Check elements are positioned in Line A and in Line B, allowing bidirectional load holding in stacked circuits. A decompression feature is included to bleed trapped oil gradually and minimize shock when the valve opens. The interface follows the 06 size with a 3/4-inch mounting pattern, enabling it to stack directly between subplate sections in SystemStak assemblies.
The module mounts on a subplate or manifold, so no separate piping is required in compact power units. It tolerates operating pressures up to 3000 psi, matching most mobile and industrial power packs, and accommodates flow up to 60 GPM to support medium-size actuators. Fluid temperatures can range from −4 °F to 158 °F, allowing cold-start operation and stable performance when oil warms during duty cycles. The internal passages are sized for anti-wear hydraulic oil, and Buna-N seals provide compatibility with that fluid while containing pressure across the stated temperature span. A cleanliness level of 19/17/14 is required to limit contamination-induced leakage and maintain check seat integrity.
