The DGMX25PPGWB30 pressure control valve belongs to the SystemStak Modular Valves series produced by Vickers and is used to limit pressure in hydraulic automation manifolds. The unit is pressure operated, so line pressure acts directly on the spool to open or close the passage. A screw and locknut mechanism lets maintenance staff set the required pressure without accidental movement. It works with petroleum oils and needs the fluid to stay at ISO 19/17/14 cleanliness to avoid premature wear. An internal drain returns pilot flow to the stack, eliminating an external drain hose. Maximum operating pressure is 315 bar (4500 psi), and the design passes up to 120 l/min (32 US gpm) to cover medium-flow machines. Control pressure enters through pilot port P, which is the same passage being regulated.
The valve mounts on a CETOP 5 size 5 surface that follows the ISO 4401-AC-05-4-A (NFPA D05) pattern, making it compatible with standard sandwich stacks. A G1/8 (1/8 BSPF) gauge port allows direct connection of a pressure gauge during setup or troubleshooting. The housing measures 208.026 mm (8.190 in) in length and 59.944 mm (2.360 in) in height, and it weighs 3.5 kg (7.7 lb), so one person can install it without special lifting devices. Remote adjustment is not provided, therefore all setting changes occur at the screw on the front face. Compact internal passages further reduce external pipework in stacked valve assemblies.
