The DGMX23PPCHS40 valve belongs to the SystemStak Modular Valves series and is produced by Vickers for hydraulic automation assemblies. It is a reducing-relieving overlapped valve that is pressure operated to control supply pressure in stacked circuits. The module mounts on a subplate or manifold and follows the ISO 4401-03 interface, allowing direct stacking with other SystemStak components. A handknob positioned at the B port end lets the technician set outlet pressure between 10 and 140 bar (145-2000 psi) without removing the valve from service. During operation, flow enters through the reducing line P and pilot line P ports, and the body withstands system pressures up to 315 bar (4500 psi) when closed.
The DGMX23PPCHS40 handles a maximum flow of 60 L/min (16.0 USgpm) while retaining performance from ‑20 °C to 80 °C, making it suitable for mobile or industrial loops subject to variable ambient conditions. All internal seals are Viton to resist petroleum oils, which are the specified working fluids. Cleanliness should remain at ISO code 19/17/14 to protect the seat and spool from silting. A SAE 4 (7/16-20 UNF-2B) gauge port is provided for pressure monitoring without disturbing the stack.
