The DGMX23PPBWS40 valve belongs to the SystemStak Modular Valves series from Vickers and serves to maintain controlled pressure in hydraulic automation circuits. It is a pressure reducing-relieving overlapped unit that reacts to line pressure because the actuation is pressure operated. Reducing line P and a dedicated pilot line P route controlled flow and pilot pressure within the stack. A maximum operating pressure of 315 bar (4500 psi) supports high-pressure supply manifolds, while a flow capacity of 60 L/min (16.0 US gpm) handles medium actuator demands. The valve installs on subplates or manifolds, and its interface conforms to ISO 4401-03 for interchangeability in size 03 stacks.
Pressure can be adjusted at the B-port end using a screw and locknut so technicians can set the output without dismantling the stack. A SAE 4 (7/16-20 UNF-2B) gauge port lets users monitor the regulated pressure during commissioning. Viton seals contain the fluid and tolerate elevated temperatures, and the design is intended for petroleum oils. System cleanliness should be held to 19/17/14 to prevent spool wear. The housing measures 6.650 in in length, 2.820 in in width, and 2.360 in in height, allowing the module to fit within compact power units without encroaching on adjacent components.
