The DGMPC5ABM30 is a pilot operated check valve in the SystemStak Modular Valves series from Vickers, intended to lock hydraulic actuators until a remote pilot signal opens the flow path. It is configured with the check element on Line A so return flow from that service port is stopped until released, while a pilot signal is taken from Line B to lift the poppet. The 3:1 pilot ratio means pilot pressure three times lower than load pressure is sufficient to open the valve, allowing economical control lines. Because the model is supplied without a decompression feature, pressure is relieved instantly rather than in stages. Manifold installation follows the ISO 4401-AC-05-4-A (NFPA D05) interface, and 6.9 mm mounting holes accommodate standard tie bolts used in stacked assemblies. Compact form factors of 128 mm length, 69.5 mm width, and a maximum height of 71.6 mm reduce envelope requirements, and the unit weighs 2.9 kg, easing manual handling during service.
Designed for medium-to-high pressure circuits, the valve tolerates operating pressures up to 315 bar (4500 psi) so it can secure cylinders in heavy machinery. A cracking pressure of 2.5 bar establishes the threshold at which the poppet first shifts, maintaining positive sealing under lighter loads. The flow gallery passes up to 120 L/min (32 USgpm), permitting rapid actuator movement when the pilot opens the check. Poppet leakage is limited to 0.3 ml/min when tested at 35 bar and 50 °C, ensuring position holding with minimal bypass. Service fluids must be petroleum oils, aligning with common industrial hydraulic media and preserving seal compatibility. Together these performance limits allow the DGMPC5ABM30 to provide secure load holding, quick release, and dependable sealing in stacked directional control assemblies.
