The DGMPC-5-BAM-30 pilot-operated check valve is manufactured by Vickers within the SystemStak Modular Valves series. Designed to secure hydraulic actuators until commanded by pilot pressure, it employs the ISO 4401-AC-05-4-A port pattern, also known as NFPA D05, for direct stack mounting. The housing measures 128 mm in length, 69.5 mm in width, and a maximum of 71.6 mm in height, and the assembly weighs 2.9 kg, allowing compact placement inside valve sandwiches. Flow is blocked at port B until pressure from port A reaches the required 3:1 pilot ratio. Once that ratio produces 2.5 bar of differential pressure, the poppet cracks open to permit flow.
For service duty it handles operating pressures up to 315 bar while accepting flow rates as high as 120 L/min. Internal leakage is limited to 0.3 ml/min at 35 bar and 50 °C, providing tight shutoff for cylinders that must hold load. Acceptable fluid temperature spans 20 °C to 50 °C, so the valve fits standard industrial reservoirs. There is no decompression feature, so full system pressure is present at opening. Installation uses four holes, 6.9 mm through with 9.5 mm counterbores, and mounting bolts should be tightened between 11.3 and 14.7 Nm. These parameters support reliable stack assembly without overstressing the aluminum body.
