Right-hand (clockwise) rotation matches common prime movers and simplifies drive alignment. Control design 12 uses an O-ring seal layout to contain internal leakage under load. An SAE J744 101-2 mounting flange integrates the unit directly onto SAE B pump pads. Torque is transmitted through a splined 13-tooth SAE B 16/32 DP input shaft that mates with standard drive couplings. The inlet port measures 1.625 inches and accepts fluid at up to 2 bar (30 psig), ensuring adequate charge pressure. The outlet port is also 1.625 inches, and both ports use rear-facing SAE O-ring connections to simplify rigid manifold layouts. Case pressure must be kept below 0.35 bar (5 psig) so the shaft seals are not overloaded. Buna-N sealing material provides compatibility with typical petroleum-based fluids while maintaining flexible response at moderate temperatures.
