The PVQ32-B2R-SE3S-21-C13-12 piston pump is produced by Vickers for the PVQ Piston Pumps series and supplies regulated hydraulic flow for automation circuits. It displaces 32.9 cm³ per revolution, allowing predictable output in load-holding or actuator drives. A rated speed of 1800 r/min lets engineers pair the unit with standard electric motors without overspeed concerns. Continuous operation is permitted up to 140 bar, while an internal setting of 130 bar keeps working pressure just below that limit to protect seals and hoses. When the circuit reaches maximum pressure the pump can draw 15.6 kW, so the prime mover must provide 21 hp at full load. Flow is controlled by a pressure compensator head, and the assembly follows control design code 12 to modulate displacement when demand drops. Right-hand clockwise rotation is specified, requiring alignment with drive shafts that turn in the same direction.


The assembly carries design number 21, ensuring part interchangeability within its revision group. Torque is transmitted through a splined 13-tooth shaft cut to a 16/32 DP profile, which engages common flexible couplings in industrial power units. The housing mounts on an SAE J744 101-2 (SAE B) flange so it can bolt directly to B-frame motor adapters or bell housings. Pressure and suction ports are positioned at the rear and use SAE O-ring connections, which minimize external leakage paths and simplify rigid tubing layouts. Internal leakage is returned to the case, and the case drain line must stay below 0.35 bar to avoid stressing the Buna-N shaft seal. That seal retains fluid and tolerates typical petroleum oils used in stationary presses and mobile equipment. There is no thru-drive, so the pump cannot be stacked to run an additional hydraulic element and must operate as a single-pump installation.
