The PVQ13-A2R-SE1S-20-C14-12 piston pump is manufactured by Vickers within the PVQ Piston Pumps series for supplying controlled hydraulic flow in automated machinery. It regulates outlet pressure through a pressure-compensator control, and the compensator setting of 138 bar (2000 psi) moves the swashplate toward minimum stroke once the circuit reaches that level. Continuous duty is supported up to a rated pressure of 140 bar (2000 psi). Each revolution displaces 13.8 cc of fluid, and the design speed of 1800 rpm aligns with standard electric motors. A maximum input power requirement of 6.5 kW defines the drive size that must be provided. Right-hand, clockwise rotation is mandatory, and a 0.75-inch straight keyed shaft extending 1.75 inches provides a rigid coupling surface; the keyed profile ensures positive torque transmission without slippage.
Installation is simplified by an SAE J744 82-2 (SAE A) mounting flange that mates with common hydraulic gearboxes and motor adapters. Fluid lines connect through SAE O-ring rear ports, each having a 1.0625-inch diameter to accept standard hose fittings. The inlet can be pressurized up to 2 bar (30 psig), while a maximum inlet vacuum of 0.2 bar (5 in Hg) limits suction to prevent cavitation. Pump housing back-pressure must stay below 0.35 bar (5 psig) to protect bearings and reduce seal load. A nitrile (Buna-N) shaft seal retains oil and tolerates moderate temperatures encountered in most mobile or industrial reservoirs. The assembled unit weighs 7.2 kg, so a single technician can position it during maintenance or retrofit work without lifting equipment.
