The PVQ10-A2R-SE3S-20-CG-30- pump is built by Vickers within the PVQ Piston Pumps series for compact hydraulic automation tasks. It delivers a displacement of 10.5 cm³ per revolution to meter flow in low-to-medium power circuits. The unit sustains system loads because its working pressure reaches 210 bar (3000 psi). At a rated speed of 1800 rpm it matches common electric motor drives without overspeeding the rotating group. Right-hand rotation supports clockwise driven installations and ensures compatibility with standard pumps on SAE A pads. Input power is limited to 7.4 kW (10 hp) so heat generation and energy demand remain within light industrial ranges. An allowed inlet pressure up to 2 bar prevents cavitation when the reservoir sits below the pump centerline. The inlet side can tolerate vacuum down to 0.2 bar, which permits mildly elevated suction lines during mobile operation. A SAE J744 82-2 flange secures the housing to the prime mover for quick interchange on machinery built around SAE A patterns.
Internal leakage is routed to the case, which must not exceed 0.35 bar (5 psig), safeguarding shaft seals from extrusion. Minimum oil viscosity of 16 cSt keeps hydrostatic lubrication intact during warm starts. Maximum viscosity of 40 cSt limits cold-start torque and ensures smooth control response. ISO 18/13 oil cleanliness is required so contamination stays within limits tolerated by the piston slippers and valve plate. The splined input shaft uses a SAE A 9T 16/32 DP form to transmit torque without fretting when coupled to standard drive hubs. Rear SAE O-ring ports sized at 1.0625 in for both inlet and outlet simplify rigid pipe runs in tight power units. Operational noise is measured at 71 dB, allowing placement near operators while staying under typical occupational limits. Buna-N seals resist mineral oil and moderate temperature, providing economical service for general industrial fluids.
