The PVQ10-A2L-SE1S-20-C21-12 piston pump is produced by Vickers for the PVQ Piston Pumps series and supplies variable volume flow in hydraulic automation systems. Its geometric displacement of 10.5 cc per revolution defines the theoretical output for actuators. A rated pressure of 210 bar supports medium-pressure circuits, and an equal 210 bar pressure compensator setting causes the pump to destroke when demand is satisfied. The drive motor must deliver 7.4 kW at maximum pressure, while continuous duty is specified at 1800 r/min. An on-stroke response time of 0.040 s allows rapid recovery when flow is required. Rotation is left-hand, counter-clockwise when viewed from the shaft end, so drivetrain orientation must match. SAE O-ring rear ports simplify manifold layout; both the inlet and outlet connections use 1.0625 in O-ring bosses, allowing identical fittings on suction and pressure lines. The case withstands only 0.35 bar of back-pressure, so its drain must return freely to tank. A Buna-N shaft seal resists petroleum-based hydraulic fluids and limits external leakage. Operating noise is 60 dB(A) at 1200 r/min and 175 bar, meeting low-noise workplace requirements. The pump weighs 7.2 kg (16 lb), enabling single-person handling during installation.
