The XT03-3F-22 valve is produced by Vickers for the Pressure Reducing Valves series. It stabilizes downstream pressure in hydraulic automation loops by throttling the inlet flow to a controlled level. With a nominal passage of 3/8 in, it fits compact circuit manifolds and pipe runs. The unit tolerates a maximum supply pressure of 210 bar so it can be placed directly after high-pressure pumps. It caps the reduced pressure at 200 bar and can be adjusted down to 10.4 bar to suit delicate actuators. A maximum flow capacity of 53 L/min enables service in medium-power machines. The design accepts hydraulic oils from 13 to 500 cSt, allowing start-up with cold fluids and operation at elevated viscosity. Installation is simplified because the mounting attitude is unrestricted.
Ambient service temperatures may fall to −20 °C and rise to +70 °C, so the valve remains functional in unheated workshops or warm plant rooms. When carrying petroleum-based oil, the internal components withstand fluid temperatures between −20 °C and +80 °C without loss of accuracy. Excess pilot oil is routed to tank through a dedicated drain, and that line is limited to 1.7 bar back-pressure to preserve stable spring forces. System checks are aided by a gauge port threaded G1/4 BSPP, providing direct access for a pressure transducer. Remote pressure adjustment is available through a separate control port that shares the same G1/4 BSPP thread, letting a pilot line influence the spool without removing the cover. These interface details and temperature limits complement the pressure ratings described earlier to complete the operating envelope.
