The XT 06 B20 pressure reducing valve is manufactured by Vickers and belongs to the Pressure Reducing Valves series. It is applied in hydraulic automation to maintain a controlled downstream pressure. The valve tolerates a maximum supply pressure of 210 bar, while regulation requires at least a 10 bar differential between inlet and setting. With the b spring code, the reduced pressure can be adjusted as low as 5.6 bar. Rated flow capacity reaches 57 L/min (15 US gpm), matching medium-duty circuits. The body is nominal size 06, equivalent to a 3/4-inch porting pattern, and both inlet and outlet share a G3/4 ISO 228/1 thread. Drain oil returns through a G1/4 port that must not exceed 1.7 bar, and a separate G1/4 high-pressure gage port lets technicians read the upstream line directly.
Installation is flexible because the mounting attitude is unrestricted. A G1/4 reduced-pressure gage port is provided for downstream monitoring, and two remote control ports—G3/8 for the primary pilot and G1/4 for an auxiliary pilot—enable pressure adjustment from external logic valves; these interfaces let the main spool shift remotely without disturbing the primary flow path. The design omits a reverse-flow check valve, so back-pressure must be managed elsewhere when bidirectional flow is required. Overall mass is 5.6 kg, which supports secure pipe or sub-plate mounting without extra bracing. The grouped drain, gage, and pilot ports simplify hose routing and service access, completing the functional outline of this valve.
