The XS062F30 valve is produced by Vickers within the Pressure Reducing Valves series to establish controlled downstream pressure in hydraulic automation. It uses a pilot-operated, two-stage layout that senses pressure changes with a pilot section and shifts the main spool for stable regulation. A nominal size 06 mounting pattern fits common CETOP ports. The unit accepts inlet pressures up to 210 bar (3000 psi) and allows the outlet to be set anywhere within a 70 bar (1000 psi) range by means of an internal spring stack. With a rated flow of 114 L/min (30 US gpm), the valve supports medium-capacity circuits that run on petroleum oils; nitrile seals contain the fluid under the stated limits.
For on-site tuning, the outlet setting is altered with a screw and locknut assembly that secures the chosen value against vibration. There is no integral check valve, so reverse flow must be handled externally, and the design omits a hi-vent spring because venting is achieved through the pilot gallery alone. The body requires fluid cleanliness no worse than ISO 19/17/14 to preserve internal clearances. No electrical connection is provided because pressure modulation is purely hydraulic. The rectangular casting measures 176.530 mm in height, 164.973 mm in width, and 95.250 mm in length, allowing compact installation inside power units or manifold stacks while still offering the operating characteristics described above.
