The XG2V-6BK-10 pressure reducing valve is produced by Vickers in the Pressure Reducing Valves series for maintaining a stable downstream pressure in hydraulic automation loops. It employs a micrometer with keylock adjustment so operators can set the pressure precisely and secure the setting against accidental movement. The valve tolerates a maximum inlet pressure of 350 bar at port B, enabling it to work on high-pressure supply lines. A rated flow capability of 200 L/min at a 12 bar differential allows the component to serve large actuators without excessive restriction. Its mounting face follows ISO 5781 AG-06-2-A, so it fits standard subplates, and the mounting attitude is unrestricted, giving flexibility in manifold layout. A G1/4 gage port thread is provided to attach a pressure gauge during commissioning or monitoring. The pilot drain releases 1.0 L/min at 100 bar, preventing pressure build-up in the control chamber. Fluid cleanliness must meet ISO 19/17/14 to protect the internal lands and orifices from wear.

Ambient operating conditions range from −20 °C to +70 °C, so the valve can be installed in cold or warm machine rooms. The compatible media include mineral oils L-HM and water-containing fluids L-HFB and L-HFC, allowing use in fire-resistant systems as well as conventional oil circuits. Permissible fluid temperature extends from −20 °C to +70 °C, matching the ambient range and maintaining seal integrity. The body mass of 4.8 kg aids vibration damping while remaining light enough for manifold mounting without extra support. Port Y is limited to 2 bar, keeping the drain line at a safe back-pressure level for the pilot stage. When the supply rises to 300 bar, the pilot drain flow increases to 1.3 L/min to sustain stable control pressure. These thermal and hydraulic limits define the operating envelope of the valve without repeating earlier details.
