The XG062F22 pressure reducing valve is produced by Vickers within the Pressure Reducing Valves series. Designed to maintain downstream pressure in hydraulic automation circuits, it uses a pilot-operated actuation scheme to sense outlet pressure and adjust the main spool accordingly. The two-stage layout isolates the sensing section from the main flow path so that small pilot movements can shift the larger power stage with minimal energy loss. Subplate or manifold mounting allows direct integration into modular control blocks, while the SAE 12 (1-1/16-12 UN) port accommodates common supply lines. The interface size 06, corresponding to a 3/4-inch cavity, matches standard industrial subplates, and the separate size code 06 confirms envelope dimensions consistent with other Vickers components. A 1/4 NPTF gauge port lets maintenance personnel monitor reduced pressure without disturbing the circuit. System set-points are adjusted through a screw with a locknut, permitting secure field tuning, and nitrile seals contain petroleum-based hydraulic oils used in typical mobile and industrial equipment.

At full capacity the XG062F22 handles up to 30 gallons per minute (114 L/min), supplying downstream actuators without excessive pressure drop. The inlet side tolerates line pressures as high as 3000 psi (210 bar), while the internal logic limits the reduced outlet to 2000 psi so auxiliary branches receive stable force regardless of upstream surges. Operation remains reliable between −20 °C (−4 °F) and 70 °C (158 °F), a span that covers cold startup in outdoor machinery and extended duty in warm plant environments. These flow, pressure, and temperature limits define the envelope for pump selection, heat rejection, and hose rating when the valve is deployed in pilot circuits, counterbalance manifolds, or dedicated pressure zones.
