The XG033F22 pressure reducing valve belongs to the Pressure Reducing Valves series and is manufactured by Vickers for hydraulic automation circuits where controlled downstream pressure is required. This model is supplied in valve size 03 with a 3/8-inch interface and fits on a manifold or subplate to streamline installation. It regulates flow up to 14 US gpm and allows the outlet setting to be tuned between 150 psi (10.4 bar) and 2850 psi (200 bar). Stable regulation demands at least a 150 psi (10 bar) difference between inlet and outlet, while the inlet itself may reach 3000 psi (210 bar) without causing internal damage.
The valve operates in ambient temperatures from −20 °C (−4 °F) to 70 °C (158 °F), covering typical indoor and sheltered outdoor locations. With petroleum media the fluid temperature can rise to 80 °C (176 °F); water-based fluids must stay between 10 °C (50 °F) and 54 °C (130 °F). Viscosity may vary from 13 cSt to 500 cSt, supporting a wide range of hydraulic oils. The spring chamber drain line is limited to 25 psi (1.7 bar) to maintain accurate pressure control, and system cleanliness should not exceed ISO 19/17/14 to protect internal components from wear.
