The XCT06B20JAJ pressure reducing valve is built by Vickers for the Pressure Reducing Valves series. It stabilizes downstream pressure in hydraulic automation circuits so actuators receive a constant supply regardless of upstream fluctuations. The unit accepts a maximum supply pressure of 210 bar (3000 psi) and controls flow rates up to 57 L/min (15 USgpm). A nominal size of 3/4 in supports mid-range line dimensions common in industrial machinery. Operation remains reliable between ambient temperatures of −20 °C (−4 °F) and +70 °C (+158 °F). Fluid viscosities from 13 cSt (70 SUS) to 500 cSt (2270 SUS) are tolerated, and an integrated reverse free-flow check valve permits unrestricted return flow when pressure equalizes.
For correct function the inlet pressure must remain at least 10 bar above the desired set point, and the reduced outlet pressure can be adjusted down to a minimum of 5.6 bar (81 psi). The drain port is limited to 1.7 bar (25 psi) and is machined with a G1/4 thread, matching the G1/4 connection provided for an optional pressure gauge. Petroleum-based fluids may reach +80 °C (+176 °F) while water-containing oils are limited to +54 °C (+130 °F). The assembly weighs 5.9 kg (13 lb), allowing straightforward manifold or line installation. These characteristics supply precise pressure regulation while maintaining low case pressure and convenient monitoring ports.
